Coworking Space
SkullSpace, Winnipeg’s premiere hackerspace, also has coworking space for members. Skullspace is a community of hackers, builders, programmers, artists, and anybody interested in how stuff works, gathering in a common place to help focus knowledge and creativity. SkullSpace is located in a 2,500 sq. ft. space on the second floor of 374 Donald Street, in the heart of the Exchange.

Along with North Forge Fabrication Lab (North America’s largest fabrication lab), North Forge also provides coworking space aimed at providing a collaborative environment for entrepreneurs and start-ups to build their futures from the ground up. It can be found at 125 Adelaide in Winnipeg’s Exchange District. For more established startups, North Forge offers office rentals at nearby 321 McDermot Ave.

It is a community of hackers, builders, programmers, artists, and anybody interested in how stuff works, gathering in a common place to help focus knowledge and creativity. SkullSpace is located in a 2,500 sq. ft. space on the second floor of 374 Donald Street, in the heart of the Exchange. SkullSpace’s facilities include a classroom, electronics workbench, 3D printer station, CNC machine, lounge and kitchen.

The ideaMILL makerspace, located on the 3rd floor of the Millennium Library, offers community access to new and emerging technologies in a collaborative space. Tinker, collaborate, create & learn new skills. Equipment includes Media Station PCs, Sound Booths, Rotary Tools, Engravers, Sewing Machines, 2 Ultimaker3 3D printers, Occulus Rift VR headset, and more. All services are free of charge to anyone with a Winnipeg Public Library card (membership details).

The North Forge Fabrication Lab is North America’s largest fabrication lab. It can be found on the 3rd Floor of 125 Adelaide in Winnipeg’s Innovation Alley and provides access to digital fabrication and prototyping equipment with support from the entrepreneurial and innovation communities.
